Ever since I was a little girl my parents told me to put my trust in God. This is kind of easy when you’re young, but as you get older this trust gets tested. I truly can say I’ve had my ups and downs with the Lord, but I can also say it made me stronger. God gave me lyrics to put these experiences into words en I hope that you may experience through this album how great and faithful God is, even though it may look different sometimes. “There’s no God like Yahweh” is a sentence I think about often lately. I believe that at this moment I am at the place God wants me to be. Even though I sometimes don’t feel worthy enough to be at that place. God put me here with a purpose. I pray that with His help I may achieve His goal. I have no idea what’s ahead of me but I trust God to lead the way. That is why the album is called “trust”. Because trust is something I had to learn in the past and still have to remind myself of in the future. But with God all things are possible! I am almost not surprised anymore when something extraordinary happens that (again) puts peaces of the puzzle exactly into place. My heart is full of thankfulness and awe to the One who created me.
