In February I worked with Talitha Nawijn on the backingvocals of her debut album: Raak. It is going to be great! A lot of jazz influences. It will be in stores around the 10th of May.

12-01-09 First of all I want to wish you a very healthy and blessed 2009! At the beginning of a new year you start planning your goals for 2009. What does God have in store for me? What are my own goals? One of my goals for this year is to get a promotion tour going. There is nothing greater than to worship God with others and tell about Him through music. So who knowns, I’ll be singing near you soon! Gospelflavor is doing really well, so I hope that will continue. Another goal is to really get the movies and pics online that were made during my presentationconcert. So check the site! 14-11-08 A dutch company that distributes popmusic called Intermediate, made a top 3 of artists which they found the best of Ecovata’s (my recordcompany). They thought all the artists were great but there were 3 that really were on their top 3. Ecovata is trying to get gospelmusic into the non-gospelmarket and works with this company to do that. On 1 was Ralph van Manen, on 2 Inside Out and on 3 Geena. So I’m in it twice! Haha. It really is an encouragement that a non-christian company appreciates my music.

08-11-08 Tonight I performed at youthchurch “The Life” in Assen. I have been a worshipleader for many years there, so it was kind of weird to stand there without my usual worshipband behind me. I used a backingtrack and it went well. I got a lot of positive feedback and it was nice that I knew almost everybody in the audience. Thank you guys!

21-10-08 Yesterday finally came; after months of preparation and then it is over so soon! When I saw the video recordings I realized that it was a totally great and special evening. I knew that during the concert, but seeing yourself and band on tape just makes you see how it looks and sounded. I got really positive feedback and Gospel Flavor + Inside Out really gave the evening an extra dimension. And then my band; wow! I’m honored that they were there and it sounded great!
I’m so grateful for this wonderful evening. There were a good number of people and after the concert we had a great time in the theatre café. De video’s are on my site and youtube asap. They really are great!

15-10-08 Today I received the cd's! I'm so happy with them, they turned out sooo nice. From time to time it's kind of weird to realize that it's all about to happen while you're preparing for nearly a year now. Just a few more finalizing moments before the presentationconcert. I'm really looking forward to it! I have to say my voice isn't agreeying to all the rehearsals, but everything's going to be fine, I already bought everything there is to buy at the DA, but I trust that everything is fine and sound on Monday. I can't wait to present my new songs and offer them to God!
